Our Team

Valerie brings a unique passion and dedication to helping her clients both buy and sell real estate.  She prides herself on transcending the transactional nature of real estate deals and forging strong, lasting relationships with her clients.  A Chicagoland native, Valerie was born and raised in the South Chicago suburbs and is intimately familiar with the local markets while bringing a deep understanding of each neighborhood’s unique traits, characteristics, and values.  Her transparent and focused approach makes what can sometimes be an incredibly complex and stressful process an easy and enjoyable one.

Valerie studied accounting at the Loyola University of Chicago where she graduated with honors and went on to work for nearly a decade in property management, learning all facets of the real estate industry from the ground up.  In 2019 Valerie earned her real estate license and began working with a top-producing Chicago-area real estate team before joining the Second City Agents Team at Compass in 2022.  She has extensive experience helping residential and commercial clients buy, sell and lease real estate, and has worked on many new construction projects, which enhanced her keen eye for workmanship quality and her expertise in working for and negotiating with developers.  Valerie enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and exploring nature when she is not working. She loves entertaining family and friends and is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys keeping both mentally and physically fit.
